Silver Nutshell | Silver Metal Clay Techniques

I thought this would be a 2-page guide. It wasn’t

I may have overthought eyelets—15 pages later!

I sat down to write a quick little guide to embeddable eyelets, and you know how that goes…

One question led to another, which led to “well, I’d better explain that too…” — and before I knew it, I had 15 pages.

So, the very first resource in The Vault Collection is now live: my Embeddable Eyelets Guide.

Inside Issue 1, you’ll find:

  • troubleshooting tips for when things don’t quite go to plan

  • answers to the questions I’m most often asked

  • a really useful eyelet size chart

  • my go-to stockists suggestions

  • and, most importantly, my favourite studio technique for creating lockable embeddables

It’s the sort of guide I wish I’d had when I was figuring all this out.

The guide is worth £8.95 on its own, but it’s now available as part of The Vault Membership for subscribers. And, for those of you who prefer buying Guides separately, you can also find it in my Etsy Shop.

So if embeddable eyelets are something you’ve been meaning to get your head around, this is a very good place to start.

The first Vault Collection resource is ready. Come and have a look around.

Your Eyelets Troubleshooting Guide

Here’s a peek inside the new Embeddable Eyelets Guide. I’ve pulled out two Silver Clay Q&As from the Troubleshooting section that you might find useful…

These are a couple of useful techniques that can make a surprisingly big difference — especially when you want your embeddables to be secure, neat and lockable.

If you’re new to Silver Metal Clay, the Embeddable Eyelets Guide is a particularly useful companion to MEGACOURSE — my Complete Online Beginner’s Course. MEGACOURSE gives you the foundations, while the resources in The Vault let you explore individual techniques in more depth as your skills grow.

And remember, The Vault isn’t just about downloads — you can watch or listen to the video tutorials and Q&As, too. It’s there to help you learn something new, solve a problem, or simply find some inspiration when you’re fresh out of ideas.
